Trial Period

The overwhelming majority of people that try our service are happy with it, however, at the time of writing we have had a few who have had trouble connecting to a particular tracker they wanted to, & a few that have had trouble achieving good http/ftp speed when transferring to or from home.

If you have used less than 20 GB bandwidth, & email us to cancel your account within 8 days of the transaction date, we will refund the full cost paid less a $5 admin/setup fee. We urge you to use this period to test our services capabilities & suitability for you.

All customer information is stored in secure encrypted databases and is confidential. Emails, etc will never be sold or given to any third parties.

You do not have to have a PayPal account to join SeedM8, on the first PayPal page you have the option to login, or pay using your credit card without logging in. However, if you want to "Use subscription" (auto renew), you will need to create a PayPal account if you don't have one already.

Unless you chose PayPal subscription this is a one off charge, we do not & can not auto auto deduct each month, we email you an invoice & you chose whether to pay it or not, if you wish to cancel simply don't pay the invoice.

Software

Q plans run on different software to the Standard & Premium plans, the BitTorrent clients we use are all established stable release versions, so no concern for stats etc at private trackers, but the web interface controls that run the established clients are both in beta still, they are the best of what is currently available.

The software is in general good, however, being beta versions they are not yet bug free.

You will receive an email with your account details within 24 hours of us receiving your payment, usually much quicker.

Server performance is constantly monitored & we must reserve the right to modify the plans if necessary.

All servers have 100mbps full-duplex connections.

Q Monthly Plans In USD

Lower plans for every $5 you get 4 GB of disc space, up to 2* active torrents, 100 kB/s total client upload speed cap & 200 kB/s total client download speed cap.

Each torrent torrent allows up to 80 connections & 20 upload slots, client will automatically open extra upload slots if upload speed is below 90%.

Minimum plan is $15 = 12 GB of disc space, up to 6* active torrents, 300 kB/s total client upload speed cap & 600 kB/s total client download speed cap.

Important: Your speed caps are global for your client, there are no per torrent speed caps, healthy swarms can therfore use any spare bandwidth not being used by under performing swarms.

These plans support automatic queue stop/start of torrents & DHT, the client does respect the private flag of private trackers & auto disables DHT for those torrents.

If any active torrents are using only very slow speed the client will automatically start extra torrents in your queue in order to compensate.

Supports individual file selection within multi file torrents, you may load torrents larger than your disc space allocation providing your selected files across all torrents totals less, in other words, don't over fill your disc space.

NO monthly data transfer limit.

No built in .torrent file maker, but you can do it at home before ftp uploading, or email us a task list & we can do it for you up to once per week at no extra cost, we can also rar/unrar & zip/unzip, for you. If you think you will require these services more frequently you can purchase a custom support add on.

At the moment full functionality requires Firefox 2 or 3, or IE 6 or 7, or Safari 3.1.1 for windows, or Opera 9.27 if you enable in Opera the page right click menu.

*If you run only one active torrent at a time it will have available to it all the speed for your plan. You can select to have less active torrents than your plan allows, & therefore increased speed, connections, & upload slots per torrent.

Attention Uploaders: In order to override the default queue share % at which torrents stop seeding, which is 110%, you need IE7 as the function currently does not work in other browsers, either that or we can disable it for your account..

The Q plans above are the best plans for people that use private & public trackers, the client works equally as good as the client below with private trackers, but works much, much better with public trackers.

For every $6 you get 4 GB of disc space and 1 standard resource allocation quota (RAQ).

Minimum plan is $18 = 12 GB of disc space & 3 resource allocation quotas(RAQs).

Dual Core, 2 GB RAM

Good plans to pump up your stats on private trackers, software not well suited to public trackers.

DHT not supported, no queueing.

Database response times can be a bit slow when busy, this effects your page loading & command execution times, just means waiting a little longer, no adverse effect on your running torrents.

Includes .torrent file maker.

Upload .torrent file by URL & login cookie handling facility for trackers that use the IP method to identify you to the tracker.

Supports individual file selection from within multi file torrents, you can NOT load torrents totaling in size larger than your disc space allocation, not even if you plan on deselecting files. Unfortunately this software has high resource use with large torrents.

For every $12 you get 8 GB of disc space and 1 premium resource allocation quota (RAQ).

Minimum plan is $24 = 16 GB of disc space & 2 resource allocation quotas (RAQs).

Quad Core, 4 GB RAM

Good plans to pump up your stats on private trackers, software not well suited to public trackers.

Exact same info as standard except:

Less active torrents hosted per server, better average database response times than standard, can still be slowed if a number of members happen to undertake high resource use actions around the same time, such as hash checks & unrar.

Extra oomph also supports some extra features, such as a DHT client & the ability to unzip/unrar on the server.

Only the non-DHT client supports individual file selection, the DHT client does not.

you can NOT load torrents totaling in size larger than your disc space allocation, not even if you plan on deselecting files.

The BitTorrent client is pre-configured with these quotas, you may use multiple RAQs per torrent.

Example: If you only purchase 3 RAQs you may only use 3 RAQs in total across all your running torrents, which means you can run a maximum of:

3 torrents at 1 RAQ each

1 torrent using all 3 RAQs

2 torrents, with 1 using 1 RAQ, & the other using 2

RAQs do not expire with the torrents, they are a monthly allocation, once a torrent does not require the RAQs you've used they can be used on others.
