Why, what are the advantages?

There are a number of reasons why some prefer to use our service, rather than run a BitTorrent client on their own computer.

• Most common is ISPs that do not allow unrestricted BitTorrent use, even if you are willing to pay for the data! With our service you use our server for torrenting, then download to home with a standard download method that your ISP does not throttle/block, either ftp or http.

• Some people simply do not have access to a good upload speed, or their ISP is blocking/throttling upload, this can give you poor swarm performance as other peers are less willing to share with you, & on private trackers it can restrict your downloading ability, & consign you to never-ending seeding in order to mantain a good share ratio. This is not an issue when you use our server connection with good upload speed.

• Some people simply do not want to, or can't, leave their computer running for the extended periods that are often required, let our server handle the long tedious torrenting, then just download direct from our server when it suits you.

• Some ISPs count upload data as well as download data in your monthly quota, as BitTorrent often requires you to do a lot of uploading in order to download, this can cause you to reach your cap a lot quicker than if you are simply downloading direct from our server.

• Some people simply want a very good share ratio with their favored private tracker communities where such contribution is highly valued.

• Some people with shared computers may wish to be discreet about what they are downloading, with our service you can rename files before downloading from the server to home.

• Free up your home bandwidth for other things like gaming & streaming, or simply just enjoy browsing unhindered with plenty of bandwidth up your sleeve, a novel experience for many a torrenter :)
